Our passion are innovations that ensure a perfect sleep.
Since nearly 100 years, the brand Houben stands for a high-quality range of mat-tresses from our own production. With 60 committed and experienced em-ployees, we develop box spring beds, barrel pocket spring core mattress-es, Bonnell spring core mattresses and foam mattresses in Hückelhoven.

About Houben
Since nearly 100 years we have been producing and selling high-quality box spring beds, barrel pocket spring core mattresses, Bonnell spring core mattresses and foam mattresses at our location in Hückelhoven-Hilfarth.
On a production space of approx. 40,000 m², 60 experienced craftsmen produce approx. 4,000 box spring beds as well as 80,000 spring core and foam mattresses annually.
Thanks to our modern machinery we are able to carry out all production steps at the site in Hückelhoven. We manufacture our upholstery and box spring beds in our in-house upholstery factory. Here we combine state-of-the-art materials de-signed for sleep with traditional craftsmanship.
A speciality is our own development and production of light and bonell spring cores, which among other things form the pillars of the special and unique Houben sleeping comfort.

For example, we take care to develop environmentally friendly products and continuously check whether raw materials can be replaced by more environmentally friendly, sustainable products. We take care to use less paper and recycle old paper.
Quality at Houben
Innovations for the perfect sleep need excellent quality! Our daily incentive is to manufacture and supply products of excellent quality.
We therefore attach great importance to the highest quality raw materials, which, like our end products, are designed to last a long time. For example, we offer foams with different densities tailored to the needs of our customers.
In addition to comprehensive quality management, which affects both the raw materials delivered and the goods dispatch, we also carry out regular maintenance of our machinery. Only with regular maintenance can we ensure consistently high quality at the agreed delivery date.

We manufacture all types of mattresses, whether foam or spring mattresses in various cuts and shapes.
We have an extensive machine park and can manufacture all products in our own production. Our employees have decades of experience in the production of mattresses as well as in the field of upholstery.
Our portfolio is complemented by a large selection of matching slatted frames, box spring beds and other accessories such as neck support pillows.

For our spring and foam mattresses we offer different core versions. All spring cores are double-hardened and thus retain their bounce power permanently so that they are particularly durable.
We use a wide variety of materials for our covers: state-of-the-art climate-control, antibacterial and purely natural materials.
Hypoallergenic mattresses are important for allergy sufferers. For these purposes, we manufacture the mattresses on request from natural materials. For such mattresses, we use cotton covers. These can be removed with a zipper and washed if necessary.

If you wish the production of mattresses as a private label brand, this is already possible from an edition of 50 pieces.

Company holidays between the years!
Our company will be closed from 26 December 2022 to 02 January 2023. From 02 January 2023, we will be back at your usual opening hours. We wish all our customers a Merry Christmas [...]
Our customers include larger mattress dealers, smaller and medium-sized bed houses as well as object and project furnishers from Germany and the BeNeLux states.
Our mattresses can also be used in trucks, caravans and mobile homes.
On request, we manufacture under OEM (Private Label) for our customers.
